  • I love the idea of replacing power-ups with new armors for the ship instead of just changing the tactic of the shooting. It makes me wish there were a toy of this cute little ship with different armors sold separately that connect to the toy ship and fire different kinds of projectiles. The only thing this game is missing is bosses... I mean, it seemed strange not having to really fight any boss characters.

When was this game made anyhow? I can't seem to find any information on it.

  • Check "hol abime net" or "lemonamiga" :)

  • Ha, they sampled Crockett's Theme!

Amiga + Miami Vice = class...

  • Oh cool. Another game I've never been able to play properly. It was way too weird. Nice graphics, though.

  • Sorry, I worded it wrong: There is parallax scrolling, but the main layer of game objects doesn't scroll when the player ship moves, meaning they seem to move with the player because of the parallax. As if the entire level was moving, instead of just the player ship; the main layer is fixed and that causes a weird parallax effect.

  • Ratios of background layer are perfect.

Smooth scrolling. The foreground objects are made of the spare sprites controlled by the copper in each scanline. This is not a paralax ratio problem, this is a third virtual paralax layer . See the stars in the grren level.

The effect is perfect for the endlevel (the red foreground things).

  • The parallax scrolling is "wrong", which makes foreground items look backwards.

Poor ratios chosen for the parallax layers.

  • That was good stuff :)

  • Great job dude, and great work. Well done.
