  • after readjusting the top feeding wire it flew very smooth,, perfect straight up start and all, but that looked just boring on video. If the wire is a little bit to long it keeps dancing around...

  • I had about 3 hours of movie naterial, back when we where doing a short film for the university. I used the long wire on purpose, because it just looks way cooler than silent levitation :D

  • I never get arcing with Beamships! If you get arcs, its because your gap is WAAAY too close. Everytime you get a spark, that is a short-circuit; the force-field collapses, and model falls. Try raising the gap a bit! Peace.

  • Arcing like this is a common problem with Lifters. Try smoothing out wrinkles in the foil, tucking in the corners and trimming the edges. Carefully set you emitter wire at 3.5cm, and that should solve the problem. Otherwise, nice work!

  • ooooooo carefull now guys is it supposed to spark like that???

  • Explain my results. Beamship will NOT fly when configured as ionocraft. Not enough thrust to lift large, heavy device. Look at Beamship Variation II. Styro ball is undisturbed by any breeze, BECAUSE THRE IS NO BREEZE, you knuclehead. Try the Beamship technique yorself, instead of whining on every free-energy and antigravity site that I banned you for posting disinformation.

  • I got banned by Beamshipcaptain for copying and pasting the Wikipedia entry for "Ionocraft". The Wiki entry explains how the ionocraft (his "Beamship") has absolutely NOTHING to do with 'antigravity', and is simply an ion wind generator.

  • Ooops oops Houston we got problem. LOL, awesome. Maybe just a little more gap or just a fixed feed wire.
