My mother used to sing this song when I was a little boy. I believe the version I used to hear on the the radio in the late 40's was by Margaret Whiting. She was one of my favorites.

Thanks so much for posting this. When I was little, I loved Perry Como's rendition, which I had on a 78. I would love to hear the Johnny Cash version. This one is great, too, though... Thanks--you've made my day!
