A recent poll amongst Subcultures

Fact: Based on their appearance, 96% reported being verbally attacked on more then one occation.

Fact: Out of the 96%, 43% reported being physically attacked at least once in the past year.

Fact: Law Enforcement does not view such unwanted attacks or abuse as a hate crime.

Fact: People have been beaten, rapped, verbally assualted and murdered simply because of their appearance.

How many more have to live in fear?
How many more have to die?
How many more...

Where did you find your statistics? I'm studying this for sociology and could source it - MAJORLY helpfull! IS it in relation to the uk or usa? I'm doing my own study. So far 17 people have done a questionaire for me and 16 have experienced at least verbal abuse about 13 have psysical so far.
