The back of a huge tornado cloud (no funnel visible), with some pretty amazing cloud growth. Notice the top of the cloud still has full daylight colored light while lower down it's getting toward sunset. It really was that big.

  • Thanks! This was the cloud for a tornado that touched down in Stoughton, WI, so that's why I didn't just call it a cumulonimbus cloud - obviously not all of those have tornados. Sirens went off and instead of going to the basement, I grabbed my camera and went outside, after looking at radar and deciding it was heading away and there wasn't any danger where I was.
