It was my first few times using Houzan Suzuki's Bo-shuriken or throwing tools.

However, I also use these tools as scribers for traditional pyrography.

Throwing it indoors is exciting but I was quite nervous that shuriken would bounce back and destroy kitchen.

Thank you Houzan for the tools. It is a very thrilling experience.

  • I read a book on Shuriken and there's a passage in there that I'll paraphrase: The shuriken knows where the target is and it's our job to not interfere with its path. You've done exactly that! We can all see the clear trajectory of the shuriken.

  • That's an interesting phrase.

    I'll remember that.

  • sorry i didn't watch this sooner!

    nice video.

you are doing very well in shurikenjutsu!

obviously, from the comments here you can tell you're on the right path.

good work, bro keep it up :)

  • no problem,

I thought perhaps it could give you a perspective on throwing. I did this with a little physical exertion as I could.

  • Thank you. I will take the opportunity to observe your throws so as to learn and improve.

  • Thank you Houzan,

I learnt alot from watching yourself, Henry and Thomas.

    I hope to get better.

  • hello, where can you find bo shurikens for sale?

  • the way that the shuriken moves when you throw it is like when i used shuriken made by someya sensei of meifu shinkage ryu and saito sensei of negishi ryu, you can see that suzuki sensei's shuriken is floating toward the target, this is the feeling of aliveness. this is not shuriken nage(throw) this is shuriken uchi(strike) you are using your body perfectly in this video and the shuriken is obeying you and taking the course that it should. this is a perfect example of shurikenjutsu

  • NICEEEEEEEEE

  • Looks good- good consistency!
