Juice Newton sang it very innocently, naive... hurt for the first time and still not sure how to react. Olivia sang it as a girl who just yesterday got old enough to stay up all night. Bonnie's version is more mature, a song of a woman who has been hurt not once but still wants to be happy... just my opinion ))
