Martin Lacey the owner of GBC has a history of cruelty to animals in 2006 he publicly admitted to shooting 2bears from his previous circus (harlequin) in an interview on radio4.
He has gone on to say if circuses get banned he will shoot the rest of the animals (what a kind man)
Tho I doubt this very much as Im sure he`d sell them to someone else instead.
This footage you are about to see was filmed in June 09 and shows quite clearly how the tigers spend their days.
90% of which they are kept in beastwagons (transport lorries) the other 10% of the time is spent either
in the ring performing needless degrading tricks or in an so called exercise area which is no bigger than my front room.
Please do not line the pockets of these animal abusers, they profit the animals suffer.
Imagine a life of confinement as the animals have to endure. It is no wonder that they display typical abnormal stereotypical behaviour. They have gone stir crazy. Mother nature never intended for these magnificent creatures to suffer like this nor elephants or any other creature for that matter.
Boycott ALL animal circuses and get active

look simple fact is this was filmed at an angle thats designed to clearly avoid showing the other side of the tiger cages that has a huge outdoor area where they love to be 99% of the time,tigers pace at feeding time,finally scientific evidence supports animal welfare in circuses n not the false claims by AR activists

@circusunite you are wrong on all counts. Firstly all the data collected CLEARLY shows wild animals in captivity need enrichment. The GBC provide none. The huge outdoor area you are referring to is a figment of your imagination. The tigers are housed in beast wagons for 22hours of the day, the only time they come out is to be moved to another cage (to perform or have their training reinforced.. The exercise cage you are referring to is no more than 20 ft x 20ft. BIG DEAL. spare your crap
