The finish was eerily similar to the piledriver that Owen Hart used to break "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's neck a few years later. It looked like Tanaka's head really struck the mat.

Tanaka was not related to the late Professor Toru Tanaka (real name: Charlie Kalani Jr.) - Pat wrestled under his real name, and was a 2nd generation wrestler (his dad was Hisao Tanaka, who worked in the '50s and '60s as "Duke Keomuka").
