If meant to happen, then should've happened gradually, in a more controlled way in order to preserve order, law, the state and lives of people. The world did not contribute in a much positive way. Just watched the show.

so true. Government was the the only employerl; However changes of '90s caught the country (leaders, most people) unprepared and things got out of hands quickly. Suddenly, overthrowing the system equaled ruining infrastructure and the whole economy, physically destroying everything build up through hard work. People were dreaming of Europe and thought it would be Europe pretty soon, maybe 5 years after change.

One of my university lecturers went to Socialist Albania. Apparently, he had to go through a strip search at the border....

I am well aware of that there are many criminal Albanian organizations out there... I’m not going to argue against that. The thing is that some of them have roots back too Hoxha’s time, where being a criminal was very hard, and thus made them very though, and the weak mob was filtered out... you could call it criminal Darwinism if you wish.
