Congress passed laws for the white people to accept the blacks because they seen that blacks can't gain respect on their own like other nationalities. you shove it down our throats about slavery and other bullshit just to keep you in front of the game you people are playing. mircomanagedgov., the statistics culled from sources ranging from the Rand corporation (see my earlier posting of academic sources) to Theoretical Criminology simply do not in any way support your belief that the police "abuse a lot more whites" than minorities. Incidents of brutality, validated as such in internal reports and court cases, imbalance in arrests for comparable crimes, and of course imbalance in sentencing for comparable charges all disprove your "research" (i.e. feelings).

The truth is most police are affraid to harass blacks because they are afraid to loose their jobs for racism but when it comes to being white in todays america cops have nothing holding them back from applying full brutal force. mircomanagedgov, your supposition that "most police are afraid to harrass blacks" is sheer nonsense when contrasted to the compiled statistics indicating far more scrutiny, force, charges, and sentencing of African-American and other minorities.
