I have only witnessed one drop from a C-130 and that was at an air show... apparently the parachute only deals with deceleration, not stability. :)

@aedwards123 The one that deploys after impact I call them "Coyote Drops" lol Just reminds me of Wile.E Coyote with a master plan that fails lol
