The eighth song of their set at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland on Friday, August 28, 2009 was another track from 1998's Gentleman's Blues (their seventh song was drawn from that opus as well).
Just caught them, finally. Out of all of the things I love about this band, I 'd have to say that I love their simple honesty - lyrics wise most. It's refreshing.... It's very beautiful poetry if you get into it. Their sound is so damn solid and overall just feels good. Not only that, but all of the live stuff I've seen of theirs is TIGHT. Meaning they always have it together.... As a 25 year old girl, I'm pretty upset that I only got into them and CVB about a year ago, but glad it happened!
Thanks for posting these Cracker videos! They are a great live band, one of the most underated on the planet, and Johhny Hickman deserves to be included in any discussion of great guitiarists.
