Phoenix was left to starve in a field by his neglectful owner. Thanks to the action of concerned public, volunteers, Taylor Veterinary Hospital and NorCal Equine Rescue, Phoenix's life was saved. He has fully recovered and is an amazing horse.

Hey. It's me, Diane, the woman who first saw him in a field and tried to get him help. I still shudder at how callus the animal control officer was. He said it had rained and "he could eat when the grass grows"
Nor Cal stepped up without even seeing him in person. I am a true believer in Nor Cal Equine Rescue. To see him go from that death trap, concentration camp, field of fox tails, to a stunning healthy boy it's... amazing. Just awesome.. Thank you Nor Cal Equine Rescue.

That's a great story. Everybody keep donating to this great orgainzation. It doesn't take much but if a lot of people contribute a little, it adds up! Don't think you can't make a difference!
