@Qronos16 im from Australia, and although it isnt on a major scale, back in 1996 we had the Port Arthur massacre in Tasmania, i dont know if you heard of it, but Martin Bryant killed 35 and injured 21 people with an semi automatic weapon, the sort of weapon the government was trying to, and failed earlier to regulate, then magically Matin Bryant with no formal training was able to shoot 56 people 'by himself' before he was stopped, then the government regulations were passed based on his actions

fully agreed. Charity (I perefer the term DANA; see beam.to / DAANA ) certainly is no waste of effort; especially when some consideration is given to the question of CHANGE::Charity. I *enjoy* giving (DANA); and giving away (esp.organic) *vegan* food.

However, I'm not going to buy a gun, ever; but I can assure you that without owning a gun i'll be (much)more of an opposition to opressors than most people would be, even if given three guns.

Oh, and surer than hell you'd even get support from the weapons-producers&dealers for this.

Pity, that most people are dumb and cowards and that you cannot chnage this by giving them guns; whereas " Every gun that is made... signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending mone..
