the problem with owning whippets is everyone thinks we are terrible owners because they are such drama queens

I'm an owner of Whippets, we show them and work with a professional breeder and I can say with 100 percent confidence they are like this. They only need to be scolded to act like that, it doesn't mean the owner is hitting or beating his dog. Whippets are very in tune with their owners and they don't like it when their owners are not happy.
If a whippet is frightened they look to hide, if they are just being scolded but are not afraid of their owner they'll generally act like this

My staffy cross does exactly the same, but all you have to do is say 'What's this?" and if he does this you know he has done something wrong :P

@testy462 We all know how an animal acts, its those humans that are acting out. You for example are tyring to show us what a grand master you are. I'm sure that you treat your children the same way. You shouldnt be allowed to own an animal. You have just demonstrated to all of us how little you know about animal behavior

@Phoenixmike100 They may not know how to speak english but they understand the meaning of what your saying. They know they are in trouble and did something wrong when you speak the way this person was speaking.
What are you supposed to do, just speak gibberish sternly? Its either that or use your native language and the tone you are using gets the message across.
BTW, my whippet mix reacts just like this one when scolded. Ears down, hanging head, no eye contact.
