Carl Edward's and other X-treme Athletes come together (MotorSports)

This Sprint Car season is shaping up to be an interesting one. Today in Atlanta should be more than just interesting, but could in fact be the shift in the standings. In 2005 the dirt track racer Carl Edward's won, as he edged out Johnson right at the finish. In "08" Johnson beat Carl, and Edward's would have to settle for second. Lets not forget that Carl had the crash in "07" while racing against brother Kenny Edward's which would put him in a large hand cast due to a thumb dislocation.
This was a Right Here Adventure Television Show show that was unexpected in every way shape and form to say the least. Looking back it was a rare time. The fact that all these different athletes from different disciples came together at i-80 speedway in Nebraska in a single race season was unprecedented. See the crash that some say could have caused Carl's setback in "08", and the Carl Edward's that many fans do not know. He is a regular guy who still holds to his roots of dirt track racing. Could this could be the year in "09" for Carl? The 99 in "09"? I am going to say yes. For one I was able to speak to Carl on a personal level while he was in Nebraska and was surprised to know that he is a road cyclist, and that he is trained by arguably one of the best in the world when it comes to physical fitness. You would be surprised at how car and road bike racing have very striking similarities in regards to tactics.
