Soundtrack from Into the Wild - by Eddie Vedder. This is also a tribute to Christopher McCandless.

Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University in 1992, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.

When everything else has been stripped away, whoever is left is the real person. I think that scares people, and it should. To find out society is built upon a lie...that's hard.

There's something brave and seriously human about leaving it. In a hard world you can claim your independence, and you can do it in the open. It's not about dying-we all will. It's about being alive so you don't have to experience a death that precedes the physical one, and that's alright by me.

When I watched Into The Wild, my parents kept commenting about how he must have been crazy, but his dream made perfect sense to me. Everything he did. He died reaching out and taking the world he wanted.
