Dave Grohl is one of the few people who can rock an acoustic guitar.
-
@figbat1 Yes, because Dave Grohl obviously told the TV company personally that he wanted subtitles. Honestly, I sometimes wonder how people can be so ignorant :/
And Dave is a very calm and mellow guy, well aware that the world does not intact revolve around him. You sound like a jealous 12 year old. Your grammar implies just as much too.
-
@figbat1 Are you stupid? It was the TV company who put the subtitles there, not the band.
-
I want one Dave I gave to you! I want one Dave I gave to you! I want one Dave I gave to you!

2:30 pretty girl
-
Hell yeah!!!

This is easily the Foo's most underrated song ever. Monkey Wrench, All My Life, Best of You Everlong etc are absolutely fantastic, but this gem is perfect in the way it goes from beautiful and quiet to loud and titanic in a single song. Awesome.

@peggo8 man IT'S A JOKE!
-
I laughed a little when the guitar solo came up and it shows every single other band member but Chris is only shown in the last 5 seconds of it for half a second.

Oown, the girl at 2:27... MY LOVE!
the song is brilliant. its the best band, i think. i hope, calls better.
but the synchro of the video and the lyrics sucks. deaf people want to read the right lyrics, dude. :)

@EggoShooTeR sadlythe subtitles in this case were done by the TV company themselves.......way out of my hands. unless i've stated who has done the subtitles then it's always the TV companies in-house teams. Sadly, even in this day and age to get bang on subtitling you need to get all the performances done privately which is difficult for most people.

um, deaf people cant hear the song, so why would they want subtitles? :S

To give the deaf and hard of hearing access to music. Why should the hard of hearing not be allowed to appreciate music as well as an able-hearing person can.

well, i thought music was the projection of emotion through noise, it seems irrelevant for a deaf person, if they can only see the words its basically poetry, as they unfortunately cannot listen to any intrument, so they CANT really appreciate the SONG anyway

I'm afraid you're wrong, deaf people do appreciate music and it is most certainly not irrelevant for a deaf person, wow, ignorance really is bliss!
Have you heard of Evelyn Glennie? I suggest you look her up on here. Plus, and more famously, Beethoven, the world famous composer was deaf too.
Not all deaf people have a total hearing loss, but even then that really doesn't matter .... there are a hell of a lot of deaf music fans out there.
