That was very clever getting the link to the time there. It's the A504 from Hendon but all looks similar for a few miles, Finchley proper is at the minute mark onwards.

I must admit I'm going back to the 70s when it was like a bear pit in appearance and clientele, if it's improved since then I'm very pleased. But the best places are all gone, the Golden Eagle, Manor Cottage and now the Royal Oak. It's only the ones I never liked that seem to survive, the same goes for the ones between Hendon and Hampstead.

Thats a really nice part of london, hard to find nowadays.I grew up in south london , but my friends lives in muswell hill. The difference is unreal.

Thanks goretex, I try and find all the nicest parts of London and am lucky to live near many of them. I've got all the photos on my flickr site (same username) including many of south west London as well.
