The media is obsessed with when Governor Palin will make her announcement. Why? This video shows the date many other presidential candidates declared their candidacy. Some won. Some lost. It just proves that Governor Palin still has plenty of time.

Don't buy into the media hype and "strategizing" by political talking heads. They've ALL got an agenda...apparently.

There is no one who regrets Gov. Palin's decision not to run more than I do, but if you look at the dates in the video and compare them to the dates our primaries were held, you will find that when Obama announced his mega early presidential campaign, many states also moved up their primaries so they could remain or become relevant in selecting the GOP and DNC nomination. Today, it is going to be very difficult for anyone to declare late and get enough delegates to win the nomination.

@sortathesame Right. That's probably why the media keeps speculating that Trump is still going to get in the race, because it's "too late." That would also explain why there are numerous articles online about how it's still not too late for someone new to enter...with all sorts of explanations about how they could win.

All of those states that changed the date of their primaries sacrificed half of their delegates in the process...it's a penalty from the RNC for changing the date.

Running for president and then actually becoming president (are you listening President Obama?) is draining to the soul and the body and she is making sure she is ready for it. She knows it will be much worse than the slime that was thrown at her as a VP candidate. I pray for her no matter what she decides and I will respect her if she chooses not to. I want her to run but it's not up to me; it's up to her.
