@rgqric A. Laptops are expensive as fuck and damn near worthless for gaming if you spend anything less than 3000 dollars on them. B. PCs have staying power. With that 580, he can be playing games at highest settings for years. And If something craps out, he can just crack it open and replace a bad part. If your xbox craps out, which happens about every 2 years in my experience, you have to fork over another 250 bucks each time.

@undead2275 Well, the i7 is inherently better than the i5, regardless of the card you have. I can tell you now that the i7 processor makes a load of difference with Battlefield 3, I have a puny GTX550ti and I can almost run the game on Max at over 45 FPS. On high I can run a perfectly smooth 55-60 FPS.

I am a console player and i have played ps3 and xbox360. now i am bored out of my fucking mind and have turned to pc. trust me it's worth every penny :) plus advantages: can get free games, more of a challange, better comunity, skype to talk to friends, lan games, and you can record games and stuff!!!
