Welcome to Santa Monica Pier. I am Michelle Vink, and I am going to show you all of the amusement rides, and all of the exciting adventures that you can experience here, on the Pier. Here I am at Pacific Park, the entrance to all of the rides. From ferris wheels to rollercoasters, there is something for everyone. There are lots of great places to eat here, on the Pier, from hot dogs and cotton candy to moderately priced restaurants where you can sit and relax and enjoy the view.

This is my favorite part of the Santa Monica Pier. It is the cotton candy. Directly off the Pier we have the Santa Monica Beach where millions of people come every year to enjoy the sun and surf. At the end of the pier you will find an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean, where you will find plenty of fishermen, couples, or people just wanting to get away and relax.

"I like Santa Monica Pier. There are a lot of people here, some interesting music. There are some street performers down here, some neat little shops." Santa Monica Pier marks the end of Route 66, which actually ends a block away. There are parking lots here, at the Pier, and the further away you park the less expensive it is on the street. My mom wants to move there but she doesnt know whether to choose from Santa Monica or Venice , she says that she doesn't like very big crowds & alot of noise she just wants to be in a relaxed area with a good sunset view , can you help me ?
