  • I love Berger's books too and considered trying to write him a little fan letter. Don't know where I'd send it though, I'm writing from Canada. His publisher?

  • Yes - I'm not sure how you would write but his publisher would be a good start I think. Thanks for watching

  • Lovely video, it was like I was having coffee with friends, I wanted to jump right into the conversation. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks Kate. It was great that I just ran the camera for a couple of minutes before and then this lovely conversation happened.

  • My favorite Berger would have to be the second volume of the "Into Their Labours" trilogy, the short story collection, Once in Europa. Highly recommended.

  • Thanks for the comments and recommendation.

  • Thanks again for sharing this

  • Thank you so much for the interesting comments Mr Antelope. Credit goes to Jess and Pip for sharing their thoughts.

  • It's great that you're bringing attention to Berger's wonderful -- and powerfully relevant -- essay collection. As far as I can tell, it was almost completely ignored by the newspapers when it was published last year. People are embarrassed by his radicalism; either that, or it's a form of covert censorship.

I'm looking forward to reading his latest novel, From A to Z.

  • Candid cafe is great - we had a wonderful vegtable curry - huge plate each. I was so pleased I had the camera on just before Jesse told her story. T x
