What's funny is everyone who knocks down peoples home theatre are NOT the people who have better home theatres', but people who have heard of better products available while watching it on their 25" console television they got at a garage sale. You can always tell who the poor wannabe's are.......isn't that right...Mr. maxohpne?

@maxohpne why when a 1080p projector can be five times the size and have almost equal visual quality to the tv and cost just as much. these projectors are ace nowadays and id prefer a projector to a tv this will end up being a ps3 xbox fanboy argument .. can anyone agree?

@aR3DF0Xa i agree! projectors are amazing! i have the Themescene HD70, watched toy story 3 on it the other day! eye candy for sure! as i have a small room the pic comes out at about 92" lol, still nice and big :D
they are cheaper than 50" tvs XD
paid about £780 for my baby

Sorry, but you don't have a clue what you are talking about. I have both a 1080p tv and a 720p projector. The resolution has nothing to do with the colors. Colors vary set to set and projector to projector regardless of resolution. Plus, calibration plays a huge role. I'd put my calibrated to D65 720p projector up against any regular Joe's 1080p TV they bought and setup theirself and it would smash their tv in quality.

Actually this is from the first nite I put the image on a wall. I have a painted section of wall now framed with trim. It looks perfect. Check back this weekend...I'll make a new movie of how all is setup and you'll get a better idea then.

I build a custom bracket that hangs from the ceiling, and I just have an upconvert dvd player. The projector is only 720P but it looks real sharp.
