At that time, Omega Tower (366 metre high) was the tallest construction of South America.

Aproximadamente 336 Mts. de altura. Fué construída por la marina estadounidense que junto a otras similares, podían localizar barcos, pero el GPS mató la idea.

BTW, Trelew is the patagonia there are just a few inhabitants in the area, the antena was unproductive when the GPS show up! so is bettler to destroy it, than mantenience it...
