Hahaha I love Random messages! Don't forget that some pieces are written to be played while marching, and some are not. But I agree with you. Marching band playing is difficult! Hehehe.....

Oh the preamplifier was a cool little tube preamp built from a kit bought on eBay. It just sounded better than the standard yamaha (bigger old) silent brass preamp. I built it just for fun for another project but it seemed to work out very good for the silent brass. In a later performance I have used the yamaha amp to reduce the risk of technical failure.

It's an effect chain. Guitar effects. I used a boss digital stereo delay, volume pedal, digitech whammy, laptop, silent brass mute with self built pre-amp, sure sm58 dynamic mic. The connections between all the effects was complicated. I have written the score and made a connection overview. If you need more help please ask with pm
