@vohshkab I can't really speak to that, I don't know personally of any point where she really tried to push her religion on anyone. I'm fairly agnostic as I said, but I believe there is a difference between her being heavily religious and her telling others they have to be too.. Maybe you could give me an example of her pushing her religion on others? I agree that it shouldn't be done, but as of now I'd have to disagree that she's done it.
@daPlumber702 I think we agree that we disagree with a lot of what Palin stands for - you are right I am ignorant of the whole right to bear arms stuff but I don't believe that politicians should push their religious views on people - it is undemocratic and unconstitutional I believe in freedom of religion and freedom from religion - Palin wants to ram her religious views down people throats not a good thing as you would know if you have lived in the Middle East
@vohshkab Having said all that I rarely agree with what Palin says, but I think people have the wrong reasons to not agree, when there are so many of the right ones to pick at.
@vohshkab they took their swords and arms and it made them slaves, sorta like UK citizens today.
Suspicion of intellectuals and scientists... Other than Climate change researchers (Who should be under scrutiny when saying what they're saying) and intellectual members of government (eg barak obamma) I don't see any disregard of those two things on the part of the tea party or Sarah Palin.
@vohshkab bible attacks ok, I'm not religious and understand much of europe has moved on from being ultra religious so I'll leave that alone. The right to bear arms is something that apparently non americans just don't get. Why would I need a gun if the government that tells me everything else I can do says I don't? Because the government is NOT your friend... no matter what country you're in. It's the same as swords being taken from the serfs in Rome,
@daPlumber702 I think you miss the point - anyone outside of the simplistic societies with biblical values, self-dependency in the right to bear arms and suspicion of intellectuals and scientists would find Sarah Palin unbearable. I don't think she is stupid - she has captured a mood with a strong following and given rise to the tea party mentality so she is politically astute. I think the point here expose her ideas for their naivete and backasswardness not the person herself - i agree
Sarah Palin's career is literally over. She resigned as governor of Alaska.
