I am very excited to announce that I will be the special touring correspondent for the 2010 Lilith Tour, for ABC and ABC Music Lounge. I will be traveling and reporting from across the country directly from the Lilith Tour. Fans will be able to experience Lilith through my home videos from the road as well as my interaction with fans and artists. In addition, I am performing a special acoustic set each night of the tour from the ABC Music Lounge.

My newest cover song "Building A Mystery" is a tribute to Lilith founder, Sarah McLachlan. The video is available now on ABCMusicLounge.com as well as here.

The U.S. Lilith Tour kicks off on Friday, July 2 and ends on Monday, August 16. There will be 11 artists on each date, with only two consistencies per show: the Lilith Local Talent Search Ourstage.com winner who starts the day and headliner Sarah McLachlan. Visit LilithFair.com for more information.

  • I wish she could sing Adia and I will remember you by Sarah McLachlan.

  • @Karopex "I don't believe you should criticize someone else's art unless you believe you can produce something better/more interesting"

Ever talked to artists? They don't talk about 'better', 'more interesting'. They talk about themselves, what they mean to express & the means they employ.

This doll clone copy is not art! To even think like that is an insult to the original artist.

What creativity/personality? Point out even just one thing that stands out by itself compared to the original!

  • @mctabla This is not her best video, but I personally still think she brings a lot of creativity and personality to it. To each his own.

My point was that I don't believe you should criticize someone else's art unless you believe you can produce something better/more interesting. And I highly doubt you can.

  • @Karopex Is it really about 'being better'?! I don't think so.

But what I won't do is emulate someone famous like I'm a clone devoid of creativity.

I want people to say, wow, I hadn't heard that song in that way before... it gave a new meaning...

Crucially, your own thought process, creativity and expression make a cover interesting.

So a doll clone cover like this is really lame. Symptomatic of kids that want attention but make no real investment. No effort, no pain, no soul.

  • @mctabla Why don't you post videos of your musical ability and prove that you're better than her? Thanks.

  • Fantastic your cover and your voice!!!

  • @IwaseKaori No offence but U need atleast 15+ years of exploring as much music as U can & preferably making Ur own music too.

Then U have a rough overview of what is going on on this planet musically. Then U can start talking about 'rare finds' & 'diamonds'.

In friendship: Buy so U can listen 1000 times:

Bjoerk "Debut" (That is pure talent!)

    Rickie Lee Jones "Pirates"

    Joni Mitchell "Turbulent Indigo"

    Loreena McKennitt "Parallel Dreams"

Kronos Quartet & Asha Bhosle "You've Stolen My Heart"

  • @IwaseKaori Ha ha ha ha. She's a clone just like any other controlled-emoting juvenile doll.

I'd take you to any number of small jazz clubs where true talent & passion is on display. Old guys in their spare time showing their chops hobbywise, or young music students, who truly live every hour of their lives learning the basics & details of their instrument & any number of styles so that they can find their path to full expression of their passion & self.

This doll dribble copy of an ok song?

  • @mctabla If you nothing nice to say, then don't say anything. Marie is amazing, and has raw, pure talent, which is something which is very hard to find nowadays with all the stupid rap songs and sings about parties, alcohol, clubs, sex, stuff like that. Marie is a small fragment of a diamond on a sandy beach. She's a rare find, and there are hardly people like her anymore.

  • studio version of this PLZ!
