Depending on what you are looking for (your not too expensive comment is kind of vague) you can find most places to dine are pretty inexpensive, just like any country. Tokyo is a very busy city and you won't get much of Japanese culture there as you would in other small cities here. Nice video how do they treat foreigners ther i've been allover the world most are nice but Korea was not not to good im American so I dont blame them. Always loved Japanese culture and food of course, hope to make it there but liked to meet someone just to show me around not to bars but all the other nice thing to do there.
