It's a custom made one. The PUs were old EMGs (active). I have now installed a pair of passive vintage Fenders.

It's a custom built fretless of Jazzbass type from 1986. Active EMG pickups, Rotosound strings and a lot of marine epoxy on the neck:-D

Great playing man!!:) I too am wondering about the epoxy thing ... as I am considering trying it with a fretless ... are you pleased with it? I suppose you are using roundwounds now? Or did you always? Thanks for any response ...

Tnx! I'm very happy with having coated the neck. Before, the sound was dull (even when using roundwounds) and the bass was not very inviting for playing.

Do the work in a well ventilated area and use gloves and a mask.
