  • the violin is like ice crystals shooting up and out--nothing like this concerto--really no longer a concerto but a dance of northern winds....

  • @axelvaillant Check out Christian Ferras. He's another one of the truly greats of the past who somehow always gets overlooked. Superb rendition of this masterpiece.

  • bravo

  • Looking at Hilary, you wouldn't think powerful, but I think she absolutely expresses the spirit of this powerful piece with the right intensity.

Perfect tempo. Near flawless shifting, double stops.

    I really enjoy your playing.

  • Because the skin of their neck gets irritated after so many hours of having a violin pressed against it.

  • does anyone know why some good violinists like Hilary Hahn or Itzhak Perlman put those small cloth's on their chinrest??

  • Ginette Neveu is the reference for this piece I think: with a fleshy, powerful bow arm ... that so impresses one that one never forgets it.

  • perfect

  • Браво!!!!!

  • @jimmysluv321 Ms. Hahn was born in 1979.
