  • if meg was still alive we would beseeing dead whales everywhere

  • @HyperVegitoDBZ well it all comes down to adaptation and survivability and anything can last for endless years if it can adapt effectively. The main cause of there dissapearance is because they were too big and they were heavily dependant on a large food source to fill there enourmous eating habits. tats why the smaller sharks are here today due to eating less and being able to preserve food for longer peroids.

  • @SitaraAleu whales had already evolved by the time of the megs. That is what they preyed upon. Orcas evolved at the tail end of megs. There would still be whales. Whales are much smarter and traveled in packs to defend themselves.

  • @Tobius11 probably not, Megs wouldn't have left whale carcuses.

  • @Hunte9753 they would have eaten us. See my comment below.

  • @tommoore2012 no there haven't. The most recent were around 1.8 million years ago. Scientists are pretty confident they didn't survive the ice age and they were definately not living during ancient egypt;.

  • @janmethner they would have attacked us. They required around 2000 lbs of flesh a day and humans would be a nice snack to help satisfy that requirement. If we are swimming near a blue whale they will go for the larger thing on the menu but don't kid yourself. We would still have been a nice little treat in a world where they have to eat every day to survive.

  • @GTAcrazyfan12 megs are def extinct. They required too much food and would need to live closer to the surface to fullfill their requirements.

  • @Tobius11 it would probably be a good fight with a mosasaur. They both have seperate advantages. Mosasaurs were more flexible. Megs thicker and bigger. They both have tremendous bite force.

  • @MusicEvryDay evolution is a fact and clearly the megalodon existed.

  • The shark at 2:42 isn't a Great White...they should have waited a second or two more before bringing up the name of Great White, just to avoid confusion.

  • they ate a jelly fish n die one by one
