PERCY'S POV

I slowly pulled away from Annabeths beutiful face to breath with a smile plastered to my face.

"Woah." I gasped.

"Yeah," Annabeth gasped back.

"Did we just..."

"I think so." Annabeth replied while a smile spread across her face.

The conch horn blew faintly considering we were underwater signaling it was time for dinner. I willed the currents to take us back to shore. We kissed the whole way back.

We walked hand in hand to the dining pavillion and we both sat down at the Poseidon. Christi shot us a few bad looks. But we shook them off and just kept on laughing and talking. And rightafter Chiron shouted "TO THE GODS!" And we all shouted back and just as planned everyone from the Athena cabin turned and glared. Everybody followed their gaze.

I leaned in and so did she. And we kissed a gentle, soft, passionate kiss I could feel her smile underneath my lips I slowly settled in to my seat. So did she.

Everyone just gawked at us. And Christi came up and smacked me in the face with her horrid mascara streaming down her ivory face and hitting the floor. She ran out of the the huge pavillion doors her sisters following behind her.

I couldn't help but feel bad for what I did just a little bit. But it was the reason I did that made me smile. Me and annabeth were officially more than friends.
