It took us about 5 hours to go up, and a bit more to go down.
The climb up is about as dangerous as the coming down part, so watch out if you go.

ANy video on your ascent up of the tropical trees and woodlands along crevices in this majestic Mayon? It should be bluish green on early morning climb. Pricelss.

Good vid but I doubt Mayon is the most active volcano in the world. Probably one of those Hawaiian volcanoes is most active.

I checked and you're right. Mayon did erupt about 2 months before we went there, and the crater was still fiery red at night. It was quite a sight from base camp.
