I can't even pass the first FUCKING level the one you have to jump at the start of the game and make a HUGE jump to the small blocks with just that tiny block they give you. Seriously? This is the game for those who have more time to spare on their lives for me its fun watching people play them on video or have friends play it. xD

Also you can notice the same place you can find missingno. you might find up to 2 different pokémons beyond level 100 because of this limit break. But unlike the items, you CAN reach level 100, a 3 numerals number, so it just jumps normally for the next lv number.

I know you didn't ask and I didn't confirm this actually, but it's what I think it happens in both cases, here and there. Maybe it wasn't that interesting at all, sorry :S

In a single byte it can be stored up to 256 different combinations, but the game gives you a limitation of 100 items, as well as 100 pokémon levels. Missingno just happens to break this limitation somehow, but the game isn't configured to show any characters from 100 items and beyond so it places the next image present in the game memory instead of the number.
