@pauldamedtech that is correct. the m16 was designed by eugene stoner and jim (james) sullivan. the original name of the m16 was the AR-15 manufactured by armalite a division of fairchild engine & airplane corporation. thats the reason why the upper & lower receiver is made from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, the same alloy used in aircraft manufacture. 3 companies who are authorized to manufacture eugene's design are armalite, knight's and colt.

@stephencious .....tol... d nmn base yan sa baril.. kasi parihas lng nmn ang ak 47 sa m16 at m4a1.. parehas sila may advantage at disadvantage... ang pinka importante ay sa sundalong gumagamit... saan mo ba nakuha yang ideya nyan?? sa SF?
