@NiceIndustries So far, has the Frio cold shoe let you down in anyway? I read a few complaints stating that it broke.

@DarrenCF I know a lot folks who use them and no one I know has had any trouble. Mine still look and work like new, too.

@DarrenCF That's tricky. I understand why it seems pricy. But it isn't actually. It's just a few dollars more than those horrible metal ones. So if you need three you're only spending $10-12 more. Percentage wise it's a lot more money, but ten bucks seems like a completely insignificant amount of money after just one use. That's my opinion anyway. I'd recommend getting one and seeing if you like it before getting a bunch. You never know, people have different tastes. I love mine.
