I've just found a video here on Youtube with June Valli's hit recording of this song. The video is titled "June Valli - I Understand". I guess that the song was known as "I Understand" when June Valli recorded it. This Elvis performance was recorded at a house of a very good friend of Elvis down in Texas. There's a playlist in my channel that has two unreleased Elvis songs from this homerecording session from 1958. The songs are "Happy Happy Birthday Baby" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee".

This song is actually titled "I Understand Just How You Feel". This Elvis recording is only available on the Elvis CD from 1999 titled "The Home Recordings". June Valli had a massive hit with this very outstanding song back in the 1950's. This entire video was absolutely marvelous in every way, 10 Stars.
