@TheTechnomage I agree that Ruppert is a 'doomsday prophet' if you want to be hyperbolic about it. But the problem is that so much of the world's economy - dollar reserves, the american consumer being responsible for production demand in other countries etc. - hinges on the US.

What's really bad for the US is pretty bad for the rest of us.
