@akaitje I ride both english and western, to be truthful, I cannot stand western, Its to easy. I like a challenge. I jump, and I also do saddleseat! Saddleseat is by far my fav. but jumping is pretty exsilerating to !

It's always kind of up to the rider, though...I know lot's of western people who don't wear one because it's not 'proper attire' but no judge will dock points because you're wearing a helemt. I know one girl at my banr she is like 9, and her sister told her to do english classes because she didn' trust her unpredictable pony and wanted her tp be able to wear a helmeta dn still place. That's a rule at my club though, if your under 18, wear a helmet or go home lol

it has its time to be amazing, and other times it can bum you out. fortunalely the horse i have had made it amazing. i love it. i would love to have a dressage horse and a jumper, but we dont have anywhere to show them, so, i really cant have one. i dont barrel race anymore, i have a standardbred i race on saterdays. but when i did it it was a blast. it gives you adrelene how ever thats spelled, when u go around the barrels and pole bending, almost like it does for jumping english
