Where is it?

The five-star Lowry Hotel, situated in the heart of the city, is ideally located for easy access to the railway station, airport and main shopping and commercial districts within the city. The citys only five-star hotel, it is also the first hotel in Manchester to become a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Next to Calatrava's landmark Trinity Bridge the hotel is part of the new Chapel Wharf Development on the banks of the River Irwell. You will find the design is light and modern with all rooms furnished for total comfort and ease for business and leisure guests alike. Excellent standards are synonymous with the Rocco Forte Hotels brand and to ensure that our guests receive this service we offer great facilities to custom needs.

Description of the Hotel:

165 air-conditioned bedrooms, many have views over the river, including 1 Presidential Suite and 6 Riverside Suites are available at the Lowry hotel. Every bedroom is comfortable and welcoming and equipped with the every facility for both business and leisure guests, including two phone lines, voice messaging, dataport, interactive satellite TV, fax connection, mini bar and safe. All bedrooms are spacious and have walk-in wardrobes and marble en-suite bathrooms.

Deluxe City View Bedrooms - 35 sq m in size all beds are two meters wide and can easily be arranged as two oversized individual beds for sharing guests design features such as The Olga Chair, spacious working desks with two line telephones, modem connectivity and good lighting. Desk chairs are Ergonomically designed. Whilst all guests will benefit from features such as a private dining menu, a well stocked in-room bar and snack basket, interactive televisions offering terrestrial stations and satellite channels, walk-in dressing rooms, security safe, portable professional hairdryer, trouser press and plentiful storage space.

The bathrooms are decorated in Italian Porcelain tiles and glass mosaic detail which all have bath and power shower, W.C. and Bidet. Luxurious Italian toiletries and fluffy bathrobes and towels to compliment your stay.

Deluxe River View Bedrooms - offer the benefit of unrivaled views of The River Irwell, Trinity Bridge and the City sky line. The River View Bedrooms offer all the features of the deluxe bedroom.

Maps & Directions:

Situated on the Salford-Manchester boundary, and is just a short taxi journey from both Piccadilly & Victoria train stations. The Hotel has an onsite Car Park the charge for parking overnight is GBP 12.00 Valet Parking Available.

Local Attractions:

Within Manchester there are many attractions to visit, sporting fans will be thrilled to know that the they are in close proximity to two major sport arenas. These include the Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester Uniteds Old Trafford and their rivals Manchester Citys City of Manchester Stadium.
