@DAKOTA56777 Was used in a lot more places than the Rocky Mountains. There were some used out on the east coast, and plenty in California as well. I actually can't think of any shays that were used in the rocky mountains. And shays were built well into the 40's, the last shay was built in 1945 for the Western Maryland Railroad.

If you mean that the shay is fake looking your WRONG it's was ONLY built in the U.S. between the 1870s to 1920s i should know i'm a American. It was used in the Rocky mountains because a shay is part of 3 "geared type" steam trains built for the high grades of the mountains.
