2005年に制作されたアーティストグループAntenna（アンテナ）の映像作品、­Antennaの作品テーマとなっている日本の歴史や文化、世界観を象徴する架空の­日­本歴史テーマパークYAMATOPIA(ヤマトピア)の成り立ちを解説するアニメーシ­ョン。日本画の保存修復の技術によって描かれた絵画を素材とし制作された。ウェ­ブサイト:http://antennakyoto.com/


Legend of Yamatopia

Long ago in a faraway land, there were many gods, demons, people and others.They fought fierce battles constantly, which turned more people into demons.

The demons attacked the people and coveted all that the people had.
The sun and moon lost their way, the sky turned dark, the ground turned sterile and the water was tainted.

It greatly pained the gods to see all the people weeping.
One among the gods, Hiizurufujinokami, took pity on the people and created a new land.
He spread paper over a desolate land, scooped gold blood from the demons, painted five gold circles with a brush, and made five new lands.
Gold blood dropped from the brush piled up higher and higher to become a tower.

He told the people—
To love guests from gods
To move five people to the five lands
To stay in each land
Then to allow people to live in the lands.

The people promised him and were given the new lands.
When his shining form circled the high tower, many guests came out of the gate of the tower and settled the lands.
Five people welcomed them and were given eternal happiness.
As time passed, no figure circled the high tower, no guests came, and at last, the demons arrived.

The people suffered and prayed to the sky, and Hiizurunofujinokami came to them again.
He led the people into the high tower and dropped five disasters onto the lands.The last disaster was dropped during the third night.
On the fourth morning, the people went out from the tower, their minds were at ease because the demons were gone.

The lands hung in the air and no one else could come to them.
Then the people had a lasting peace and a happy end.

@non0029 現代に対して批判的な含みを持ったストーリーを真面目に考えて作­ったので、オチは入れられなかったです、スイマセン。カミーユと­いうオチだけを詰め込もうとしたバカな映画を学生時代に作ったの­ですが、そちらを見ていただけると良いかもしれません。ぐだぐだ­ですが。
