@superserial1 It's because, lyric-wise, it's a "message song", It's a song about how the media promotes "negativity", and how pornography feeds the image that women/girls are sexual objects, not human beings :-) What I find surprizing is that a lot of people don't get that Prince's overly sexual songs, are really just him being brillant enough to know what will get people's attention, so they'll listen to his "message songs".
