03 Mustang GT Bassani Cat-Back and Catted X-Pipe

I finally made a video of my car since I had my Stainless Bassani Cat-Back and Stainless Catted X-Pipe put on. I've had them for a couple of months now so they've worn in well. Actually I have no idea. Havent gotten it dyno'd. I just dont want to get mad about it and find out I have like 280hp. Look at my other vid, the one with headers. I need to make a vid now that ive taken the two high flow cats off. I love the sound of it now. But the catback lists gains of up to 30hp, and the X-pipe gains of up to 20hp. I felt a gain, but not nearly that. maybe 10 or 15 each, or maybe my gear ratio is just killing me(3:23)

thanks. haha that is true. my car sounds completely different outside than it does inside, honestly, if you can trust someone. let them drive your car by you one time and you'll be amazed at how it sounds.

Wow! Thats alot of money, yeah dude it sounds really sweet. I'm getting a regular 03 ford mustang, want it to sound loud at a cheap price. I know it wont be no where as near is epic as yours but do u have any ideas that is affordable for a teenager like myself?

haha im 19 myself. i just save up money that doesnt go to my REDICULOUS insurance bill and buy stuff for my car, i have no savings. lol. well you can get the bassani BX exhaust, its a lot cheaper than the stainless steel exhaust. whatever you do, dont go with the "flowmasters" because everyone has them. borla sounds great aswell. just research it a little and you'll find what you like the most.

How much did u cost in total to get all that stuff?

oh god....well all-together it was probably around 3 grand, installed and all.

but no one has a car that sounds like mine, anywhere ive ever been. and ive never personally met anyone with bassani exhaust. i have the cats off of it now and it sounds amazing, along with a stage 2 centerforce clutch and bigger throttle body, upper intake plenum, and sct livewire tuner.

@kyleelkins89 ...no cat-back will give you 30hp...maybe 4 or 5....30 is about how much you would get from longtubes....

hey, my name is cory and I have an '01 True Blue GT with the bassani full catback exhaust with the hi flow cats, but just like u I just took mine off also and added the delete pipes. sounds even better.lol

hey so i have an 04 gt and was looking into the bassani catted x-pipe and noticed in your other video that you said you took the cats off to see what that sounded like. is that something you can do at home or would it have to be done at a shop?

Not to make you heart broken but my GT with full exhaust and a dyno tune made 268whp 310tq. Most GT's with full exhaust and no tune only make 250whp. Granted at the flywheel 268 and 310 equal roughly 312 and 366. That is quite a bit over stock.

3 grand was probably for the full exhaust set up installed, bassani mid-lenghts, highflow catted x and cat-back
