This "Coming Attractions" spot was meant for young moviegoers in the UK, but several of the films featured played on the CBS Children's Film Festival, including "Scramble", "Mr. Horatio Knibbles" and "Cry Wolf".
Hi, Can anyone name a CFF film that involved Cheggers and a circus or carnival, or alternatively one about some kid or kids who were stuck in an area that had been evacuated because of an impending nuclear accident, or some such?
Classic. I can't help thinking 'Surf Boat Racing in Australia' may have been some winter sun and a freebie holiday for the Brit film makers. I was totally obsessed by Mr Knibbles. Had a toy rabbit named after him. I don't remember the jolly children, seated in orderly fashion, laughing at our Cinema Club in London. I do, however, remember the rough kids sitting at the back and lobbing huge conkers at the 'posh' kids at the front, don't think the toy rabbit helped.
Britain was great like this once....now the kiddies are taught the Koran in school and are encouraged to be queer as freaks.
Sad days....

@WrathschildFink The Keith Chegwin one was "Robin Hood Junior". The other film starred Dudley Sutton and was called "One Hour To Zero" (I think).

I'm starting to think I dreamt them.

Saturday children's matinees? Wouldn't that be great again? Nowdays there is no G rated movie at anytime. They are upgraded to PG movies.
