They did a reunion show at Hard Rock Cafe in Memphis, TN in May. I hope it's the start of something special. Link to one of this guy's vids from it. v=S3mXEH_sQY8

@n1bleachfreak - no they aren't. Just like sheer said, they just weren't getting the support that many of the crappy bands around did. They were, I guess, by force, forced to break up.

Most band don't stick around 40 yrs (I.e. Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, etc...) 5 to 10 yrs is more like it. People get older & start families. Breaking Point was a band from 1998-2006, recording and touring for Wind Up Records. After the last album contract & tour, the members decided to continue on other endeavors in the music business. Brett Erickson is a songwriter, Greg Edmonson plays studio bass, Zeke Dauner owns a band bus company and does sessions in Nashville, & Justin Rymer is a producer.

I've read somewhere that they no longer receive support from their label "Wind-up" but I don't know whether they are still together. Maybe they're on hiatus. Their last album was released in 2005, nothing new since then... Another band that got "destroyed" by a money-hungry record label. Shame...
