Charity Bank Borrowers- Folkstone Sports Centre

Folkestone Sport Centre is much more than your average leisure centre. As well as hosting a wide range of sports facilities the charity runs 18 separate programmes to help the elderly, homeless, low income families and disabled people. Activities include cardiac rehabilitation, youth clubs and homeless shower care. The building was in need of major modernisation. Mainstream banks were approached but declined to lend. Charity Bank agreed a loan of £1.167m.
