Ok, I do not know that deep. First time I heard all that. As Geetha changed her name from Roy to Dutt, I was thinking Dutt was the surname, So, as per you Dutt was not any part of their surnames?
Ya. I verified many sources. It was Geetha, But the third singer was one Mr. Thakur. In a few sources, i also saw it was Pran himself. I am wondering if by any chance Pran had some real name which included Thakur? I sall appreciate if any one can through some light on the last question.

Guru Dutt was born Vasant Kumar Shivashankar Padukone. He was heavily influenced by the Bengali culture and adopted the name Guru Dutt. Hence Geeta Roy Choudhury after her marriage should have become Geeta Padukone. She too continued to use the "Dutt" surname.

She looked so much Bengalish, acted in Bengali films and sung Bengali songs, Prefered by Bengali composers like Anil biswas, Hemanth kumar, and S.D.Burman. What is their place of origin?Native language?
